THE DANCE SHOW is not only a retrospective of Bambi's performance work over the past decade but also a campy memoir and femifesto reflecting current perspectives on concert dance, drag, and post modernism, to name a few 😜 THE DANCE SHOW uses dance, video, storytelling, and lipsyncing to reanimate Bambi’s entire body of work — from ballet conservatories to Judson Church and, finally, to the sacred nightclub.
THE DANCE SHOW was commissioned through the Artist in Residence program at Dance Place in DC with lighting design by Faryn Kelly.
