THE DANCE SHOW / March 2024

THE DANCE SHOW was Bambi’s recital for the Dance Place artist-in-residence program 2022-2024.

It is a campy memoir and femifesto that uses dance, video, storytelling, and lipsyncing to reanimate Bambi’s entire body of work — from ballet conservatories to Judson Church and, finally, to the sacred nightclub.

THE DANCE SHOW was commissioned through the artist-in-residence program at Dance Place in DC with lighting design by Faryn Kelly.
