About the show
The Kid Show with Chitra and Bambi is a weeknight family-friendly dance extravaganza, hosted by Dance Place, that invites us all to share who we are by how we dance!
It is a unique live event for all ages featuring dance performances from Chitra and Bambi, interactive, hands-on activities, a mini-dance class informed by Chitra and Bambi’s histories in, among others, Indian classical dance, hip hop, and ballet, and we will close-out with a family dance party with a DJ!
About Chitra and Bambi
Both Chitra (2024 GALLIM Parent Moving Artist Resident) and Bambi (winner of the 2022 Washington Award in Dance) use their dance training to learn more about themselves and the intersectionality of their own identities. As artists, they combine these identities to bring audiences, students, and partners together to dance and be joyful.
The Kid Show is co-presented by chitra.MOVES and haus of bambi for The Great Persons Series.
